壶身的熏银工艺，是依据银氧化变黑的特征，采用日本高山泉水中的硫磺，在其表面施予了硫化银工艺，凸起部分重现光泽，而凹陷部分则保留了熏银后的黑色，为器物增添颜色的变化，即凸现古典怀旧气息，又能够有效地使银器自然氧化，容易保养。熏银技艺从日本古代沿用至今。
